At last I have had the time to read the lovely posts on this website. I am a Cordes - my family are from the UK - however I have been told that our branch of the family are all around the world. So who knows some of you guys may be relatives. My fathers name was Henry Cordes and his father was Joseph James Cordes.

Hi Cathy,
I'm Manuel and Jessie's daughter. Mom has tried to call you a few times with no luck and was worried about you. My dad passed June 27. Mom would be so happy if you called her. Hope all is well.

Hi Wendy, I wish I could help you with your search but as far as I know, there wasn't an Alexander Cordes in our family. Sorry...

I am trying to trace my grandfather's family, his name was Alexander Cordes born around 1898. He was from California. He left for South Africa to start farming but i don't have dates. Would appreciate any info you might have. Many thanks.

What a fantastic day Sunday, Nov. 21, was! Who else but you, Cathy, could get Marshall Trimble to come to your place for a free book signing? The day was laced with history, fun and good hamburgers. You're truly keeping the Old West spirit alive.
